VivaBiH

Thank you Vildana for the design and marketing that changed veganism in Bosnia and Herzegovina

“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss

In the sea of daily obligations, we often forget how fast we have grown as an organization and what we have been through in the past three years.

Vildana Hrnjić is one of the people who has been part of our team since the summer of 2020 and has contributed a lot to VivaBiH with her ideas and work.

Unfortunately, Vildana stops working in our organization in order to devote herself to her other international projects and entrepreneurial ventures.

“Horror’s of KFC-a” – the reality behind the famous brand!

At the beginning of March, to be precise 03/02/2023. in Sarajevo, a campaign called “The Horrors of KFC” appeared in trams.

This is one of our smaller campaigns, and it was inspired by the recent opening of KFC in Sarajevo.

The global brand KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) is known for preparing chicken meat. Although we are far from Kentucky, this famous brand recently opened its premises in Sarajevo.

With Veganism to a healthy soil and for a healthy and safe future

VivaBiH as an organization works to raise public awareness of today’s problems, with a focus on their solutions.

In addition to the campaigns that we did on milk, honey, water and air, it was time to make a campaign for soil.

Land or soil is what is also around us and without which we cannot live, just like water and air, and the goal of this campaign was to awaken a more conscious relationship between man and the soil, because the current relationship is not sustainable at all.

Soil is a living ecosystem consisting of minerals, organic matter, air, water and living organisms. This wealth of biodiversity plays a key role in regulating, storing and filtering water.

“Let us choose compassion” because it is the solution!

On Saturday, February 18th, 2023, VivaBiH together with its activist group did another performance on the streets of Sarajevo called “Let’s Choose Compassion”.

The best way to help animals is to get out of our comfort zone, go to the streets and give our voice to those who cannot defend themselves and whose voice has been unfairly taken away.

This year’s VegOdluka is the most successful yet!

As you know, for the third year in a row in January we organized the VegOdluka program.

Three months have passed since then, and we are only now becoming aware of the importance of this program for the growth of veganism in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Given that most people set New Year’s resolutions, it turned out that many people start veganism in January, so this year we also wanted to promote veganism among the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

JOIN OUR VivaBiH ACTIVIST GROUP

Our organization is looking for hard-working MEMBERS who, through the work of our activist group, want to give their voice to those who do not have one.

Are you concerned about the way animals are treated, primarily because of their diet, and do you feel helpless?

We’re hiring!

NOTE: This Job posting is just relevant to people from Bosnia and Herzegovina!

With its work, VivaBiH promotes the benefits of a vegan lifestyle, that is, the ethical, ecological and health reasons for switching to veganism.

As part of our activities, among other things, we implement the “ZELENI TANJIR” (eng. “GREEN PLATE”) project, which aims to help catering establishments throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina to introduce as many vegan options/dishes as possible in their menu through the complete education of their employees.

Comfortable companionship and cooking with Ena Tešić

On Saturday, January 14, 2023, this year, we held our event “Cooking with Ena” on the premises of the Ananda Yoga Center.

The event was organized as part of our VegOdluka project, through which we strive to show the diversity of the vegan diet, as well as its numerous health benefits.

The VegOdluka program includes a free meal plan for the month of January, i.e. 31 days with suggestions for three meals every day.

What can we do “For blue sky”?

In September of last year, our organization launched a mini-campaign with the symbolic name “Za plavo nebo” (eng. For blue sky”).

This environmental campaign focuses on air and the importance of preserving it.

We wanted to emphasize the importance of healthy and clean air for human life, but also for the life of other species in the world.

On the other hand, we wanted to draw attention to air pollution, both the well-known and lesser-known forms of pollution.

Do you know that the primary air polluter is not transport vehicles?

What is the price we will all pay if we do nothing?
