The first big research of the dietary habits of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Our organization has launched the first big research that includes the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina and deals with the dietary habits of our country’s citizens. The primary goal of this research is to find out the number of vegans in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also to get data on the dietary habits of citizens of our country given the fact that there is no existing data on this.
This information is very important for us as an organization that promotes veganism in order to get to know our vegan network, but also to help us with our campaigns in which we increase the number of vegan options in shops and restaurants. When we obtain the number of vegans in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as their general location, we will focus on adapting the offer of vegan products to their needs.
This research will last from the 1st of October 2021 to the 2nd of April 2022. The core of our research is a short survey that will help us obtain the needed data on dietary needs. The questions in the survey deal with the food you consumed recently.
Probably the most interesting way of filling out the survey is via the digital promoters created for us by DevStudio from Banja Luka. These promoters have a built-in movement sensor which then activates the promoter and a promotional video starts inviting you to fill out the survey on the touch-screen of the promoter. In case you recently visited the ‘Delta Planet’ shopping mall in Banja Luka, you must have seen our promoters. In case you still haven’t, by the end of the year they will be placed in Tropic markets in East Sarajevo, Banja Luka and Prijedor, so make sure you visit these locations.
In case you do not live in any of the abovementioned cities, you can also fill out the survey online using THIS LINK (just for people living in Bosnia and Herzegovina). We also prepared a QR code that will be available on leaflets in various cafés and restaurants, as well as on various city light locations in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Zenica, Tuzla and Mostar, so that, while enjoying a walk you can simply scan the code and fill out the survey. It takes up only three minutes of your time, but means a lot for the validity of our research.
It is important to mention that, after you fill out our survey, you get the opportunity to participate in our prize game and win some of our valuable prizes provided with the help of our sponsors. Sponsors of the research are Veganer, Mandala Academy Foundation, TROPIC, Biona and BOLD IT.
All prizes except for Veganer burgers/wraps will be drawn after the research. When it comes to Veganer prizes, we will draw 20 winners every 20 days. Other prizes are a blender, a juicer, 5 Biona gift packs and Tropic gift packs.
This is one of our most important projects so far as we are aware that this research will help us fasten the development of veganism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We hope that shops and markets in our country will recognize the importance of this research and take its results into consideration when they plan products that will be placed on their shelves.
