The year 2021 is coming to an end. Has this year fulfilled your expectations? Even though we are gradually going back to our normal lives and getting used to living with the pandemic, many of us still have some bad habits such as an unhealthy diet and lack of exercise.
December is the time we all think about our New Year’s resolutions. VivaBiH is there for you to help you realize your life plans and decisions, therefore, we invite you to opt for a Vegolution and try being vegan for a month.
Vegolution is a project that we began in January 2020. It is a one-month diet plan which includes recommendations for three meals each day, along with their nutritious value. So, every day in January, you will receive free access to recipes for the whole day, their nutritious value, as well as where you can buy the ingredients necessary for the meals. All you have to do is to buy the ingredients (and we made sure they are available to everyone) and start preparing delicious meals.
“I liked Vegolution because a certified nutritionist created the menu. Recipes are simple, which is great for beginners, but the food on the menu is still rich in micro and macronutrients. I recommend this challenge to everyone, especially beginners and those who would like to become vegan because of the recipes’ simplicity and the possibility of testing new meals. Becoming vegan is “hard” in the beginning, everyone thinks we only eat salad”, says Edvin Čeliković through laughter.
Maja Hodžić said: “The idea of a vegan movement in January seemed interesting to me as it gathers people who have the same sensibility towards animals and the environment. Also, it is happening all around the world. It is a great idea to offer recipes for people who are just getting familiar with veganism. That is the right direction, as people don’t know what to eat unless it’s not meat or some other animal product. I have been a vegetarian for 11 years, so it wasn’t hard for me to give up on animal products. I recommend everyone to try it and improve their cooking skills, but above all to start the year with non-violence and environmental awareness.”
This year you will receive amazing recipes prepared by Tajna Klisura, a nutritionist and Danira Šabić, Montessori teacher and the founder of Danni’s Little Kitchen and Zdravolucija.
Apart from that, you will get many useful pieces of advice related to the vegan diet, as well as weekly online hangouts at which we will meet each other and cook together.
All you have to do is to fill out this FORM, after which you will gain access to all the recipes and the private Facebook group where you can ask any questions you may have and share with us how you prepared Vegolution meals.
In case you are not sure you want to join the Vegolution, you will have three days in January to try it out without signing up for it. Recipes for the first three days in January will be available to everyone so that you can check the concept of the project out.
