Our organization is organizing a screening of the documentary film “Dominion” on March 22, 2024, at the Cultural Center Tuzla, in the premises of OZO (Organizacija za djecu i mlade “Osmijeh za Osmijeh” – Organization for children and young people “Smile for a Smile”).

This documentary explores the morality and (un)justifiability of humanity’s domination over the animal kingdom, advocating not just for improving their welfare, but for a deeper conversation about our right to exploit them.

“Dominion” depicts standard industry practices that exploit animals. While primarily focusing on animals used for food, the film also highlights other ways humans exploit and abuse animals, including for clothing, entertainment, and research/testing.

Director Chris Delforce has created an eye-opening documentary! The content is quite intense, but many find it a valuable experience in establishing an ethical connection with animals.

“Dominion” is narrated by notable personalities such as Joaquin Phoenix, Sia, Kat Von D, Rooney Mara, and Sadie Sink, and has won multiple awards.

Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session and discussion where you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about the documentary and discuss its themes.

This event is open to all interested individuals, regardless of their dietary preferences. However, due to the film’s content, attendees must be at least 16 years old!

Entrance is FREE, but since the number of places is limited, you need to register your attendance via this FORM!
