Our organization conducts various activities throughout the year. We can categorize our activities into several groups: online campaigns, indoor and outdoor campaigns, events, publications, and research. The key projects are VIVABIH FEST, VEGODLUKA, GREEN PLATE, and ACTIVIST PERFORMANCES.
VIVABIH FEST is a two-day vegan festival held annually on the first weekend of November, in celebration of World Vegan Day. The festival offers a variety of activities, including lectures and panel discussions on ethical, health, and environmental topics, as well as culinary workshops. Visitors have the opportunity to meet local exhibitors of vegan food and products, and to try and purchase their delicacies. The festival is enriched by a musical-entertainment program, and attendees can visit informative stands with educational material. There is also a sales corner with our organization’s t-shirts, badges, and stickers, where all interested parties can support our work. Books by our lecturers are often sold at the sales stands. VIVABIH FEST is an ideal opportunity for learning, enjoyment, and community connection.
A program in January that promotes veganism through a comprehensive monthly meal plan and educational online and live events. The key activities of the program are:
– A vegan monthly meal plan, where participants receive a 31-day plan that includes 3 meals a day (a total of 93 recipes), created by a nutritionist.
– Live and online events such as culinary workshops where participants learn to prepare delicious vegan dishes and lectures on the health aspects of veganism.
– A closed group where participants can ask questions to the nutritionist, allowing for direct interaction and support. Additionally, participants can share their meals prepared during the program and share their experiences.
The goals of the program are to raise awareness of the benefits of a vegan diet, provide practical tools and resources for transitioning to veganism, and support the community through interaction and experience sharing. This program is an ideal opportunity for anyone who wants to enhance their knowledge of veganism and adopt healthier habits!
An initiative to expand vegan offerings in catering establishments across Bosnia and Herzegovina. As part of this project, we organize culinary workshops with local staff, introduce vegan menus in restaurants, and promote catering establishments and their vegan menus through our social media and website.
Streets turn into stages for artistic expressions that raise awareness about animal exploitation. Activist performances provide powerful visual messages about industries that use animals for food. Through emotional performances, costumes, and interactive elements, activists invite passersby to think about the ethics and consequences of their choices. These performances not only inform but also encourage change and compassion for animals.
Various digital activities aimed at promoting veganism and awareness of animal rights. These campaigns include creating and sharing graphics, texts, articles, and video materials on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the organization’s website.
Advertising campaigns conducted in indoor spaces and outdoors, aimed at promoting a vegan lifestyle and presenting ethical, health, and environmental reasons for veganism. These campaigns include posters and video content in public transportation, messages on billboards, and city lights placed in busy areas in cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Various events that promote veganism and educate about the ethical, health, and environmental reasons for veganism. We organize live and online lectures, film/documentary screenings, culinary workshops, and vegan food tastings.
To effectively achieve our goals, we often combine different types of activities. We organize events that include 2-3 types of activities, such as film screenings, lectures, culinary workshops, and food tastings, into one diverse event. Additionally, we integrate online campaigns with indoor and outdoor campaigns, thereby increasing the reach and impact of our messages about veganism.
Electronic publications and printed materials such as leaflets, brochures, and books used to inform and educate the public on important topics related to veganism. These materials help raise awareness and encourage the community towards positive changes.
Conducting, analyzing, and presenting research results conducted by our organization regarding veganism and related topics. This research helps us better understand the needs of the community and develop strategies for spreading the vegan philosophy. From October 2021 to April 2022, we conducted a study on the dietary habits of residents in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
