What is VegOdluka?
VegOdluka is a unique program designed to support you in adopting a vegan diet throughout January. Since 2020, hundreds of people across Bosnia and Herzegovina have joined this challenge and discovered the beauty of nutrient-rich and delicious plant-based food. This year, the program is richer than ever, and participation is completely FREE!

An educational workshop was held as part of the World Plant Milk Day
On Tuesday, August 22, 2023 we celebrated World Plant Milk Day!
This day marks the growing popularity of plant-based alternatives to animal milk, and raises awareness of their many health benefits, as well as the benefits for animals and the environment.
We celebrated this very important day in the building of Goethe-Institut in Sarajevo on the 22th of August. The workshop was called “Nauči praviti biljna mlijeka uz Vladu” (Learn how to make plant milk with Vlado).
Our participants had the opportunity to learn everything about plant-based milk from experts in this field, from production to use!
Online campaign “The dark side of milk chocolate”
In order to bring a well-known product closer to the public, but through the prism of truth and without additional decoration and filters, VivaBiH launched a small online campaign on 07.07.2023, called “Tamna strana mliječne čokolade” (The dark side of milk chocolate).
The campaign consisted of a one-minute video and several social media posts.
The “Za život” campaign made us question our beliefs
Our campaign called “Za život” (For Life) appeared on the 5th of July in six cities – Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Mostar, Zenica and Prijedor.
At a total of 14 locations, you could see billboards and city lights with the slogan “Njihov zivot je u tvojim rukama” (Their life is in your hands). The campaign was also shown on displays in 12 buses in Sarajevo and Banja Luka.
The performance RECITE NE TESTIRANJU”: We need to become more conscious consumers
On Friday, 21.07.2023. VivaBiH activists took to the streets of Sarajevo and in front of the Eternal Fire gave a voice to the voiceless.

The event “U susret ljetu” reminded us on the importance of preserving marine life
On Thursday, 01.06.2023, our event called “U susret ljetu” (eng. Looking forward to the Summer) was successfully organized at Bistru Zdravo restaurant.
Summer is approaching and we are all looking forward to warm summer days, vacations and the sea!
This summer get-together had the primary goal of reminding people of the great role of the oceans and the seas in our daily lives, and to inform them about the negative human impact on this sensitive ecosystem.
Thank you Vildana for the design and marketing that changed veganism in Bosnia and Herzegovina
“Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss
In the sea of daily obligations, we often forget how fast we have grown as an organization and what we have been through in the past three years.
Vildana Hrnjić is one of the people who has been part of our team since the summer of 2020 and has contributed a lot to VivaBiH with her ideas and work.
Unfortunately, Vildana stops working in our organization in order to devote herself to her other international projects and entrepreneurial ventures.
